Original iBook G3 visits MacMedics Mac Lab for an Airport card install
It’s not everyday we get to work on one of the original iBook models. This one was the Graphite Firewire version.
Our client brought it in for service to MacMedics to get an Airport wireless card installed. In order to get the card working I had to also update OS 9. Thankfully we still have original Airport cards in stock, and we still have all the versions of OS 9 on CD.
This unit was available from Apple in September 2000 as model number M7720LL/A for $1799.
